Hi babes! Valentine’s Day is coming up and you guys know I love a holiday. I love a theme & I LOVE to decorate my home in fun little things with faces and lots of color! And there are such fun Vday things out there this year that I thought I would share some of my favorites in case you wanted to get in on the action too! Pink & red are 2 of my favorite colors (besides purple, of course) so I get VERY excited for Valentine’s Day decor. I love how bright everything is & how the colors go together. The items I’m sharing today are mostly from my usual spots: Target, Anthropologie, World Market, Urban, etc. These would also make adorable little Valentine’s Day gifts for whoever you’re shopping for! Most of them are affordable, $20 & under! Let’s get into it:
1. Target Threshold Better Together Throw Pillow
I need another pillow cushion like I need a hole in the head, but I’m not sure I’m going to be able to pass this one up. It is SO CUTE! Like, are you kidding me!? Those parrots are KISSING! Obsessed with the colors together. It definitely gives me Anthro vibes but it’s only $20. Yeah, Ima have to buy it. And you should too!
2. Target Felt Polka Dot Heart Garland
I def swooped up this adorable polka dot, felted garland! I was in a garland obsession over Christmas and I’m glad it can continue on with this! I bought a similar candy cane garland from Target this past year and was very pleased with the quality for $10, so hopefully this one is no different! Can’t wait to hang it on our fireplace mantle!!!
3. Target Valentine's Day Felt Duos
I’ve been collecting these Target Valentine’s Day little felt duos for maybe 3 years now, and I am obsessed with them. They come out with new ones each year and I’m always so excited to see what they’re adding to the collection. My first addition to my collection were the avocados, I can’t remember what I bought last year (so I can’t wait to open my vday decor bin and see!), and this year I snagged the peanut butter and jelly! These usually go fast, in store & online… but they are all currently available for shipping online so RUN QUICK!!! They’re only $5 each and will bring you joy for years to come.
4. Target Valentine's Day Pink Ceramic Love Bird
Okay now please don’t kill me, but she is no longer available for shipping online 🙁 BUT if you still click the photo it will take you to her link so you can see if your local target (or one close by you) has her in stock! I am still on the hunt and check often… but how freaking cute is she!!!! She looks straight out of a Disney movie and I NEED HER!!! I won’t rest until she’s mine.
5. Urban Outfitters Heart Skewer Shaped Candle
As you may know, I am currently in a candle stick/pillar obsession. It’s just the easiest way to make your life feel upscale & fancy, and so many of my favorite websites have such cute candle sticks in stock right now! I’m going to be sharing a few over on my instagram (@amylynnbuttchin) so stay tuned!
But I’ve had my eye on these heart shaped skewer candles, and over the weekend they went on sale so I snagged the pink one! By the price, I feel like it’s going to be a pretty decent size. I’m terrible at gaging the sizes of some of the decor I order. Things show up and i’m either like “WHOA THAT IS TRIPLE THE SIZE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE” or “wow that is so teeny” LOL. I am NEVER correct. I could just look at the measurements the website may provide but let’s be real, I’m not going to start that now. But stay tuned, I will update you also over on instagram when it arrives! I’m so excited to get it!
6. Amazon Strawberry Candles
I wasn’t even looking for Valentine’s decor on Amazon when I stumbled upon these adorable strawberry candles, but as soon as I saw them I ordered them right away. Speaking of gaging the sizes of things, these were about half the size I thought they’d be lol, BUT they look incredibly real. Which is fun! They also have a nice scent just as is. I haven’t tried burning one yet, in truth I’m not sure if I want to light them or just use them as decoration. I have A LOT of decorative candles that I’ve had for years and I have never & will never burn. I just haven’t decided which category these lie in yet… Stay tuned. We shall see!
But these adorable strawberries come in a pack of 4 for $10.99. They also come in pink!!
7. Anthropologie Box of Chocolates Candle Set
Okay… these are the only thing on this list that are not “affordable”. It’s a box of teeny tiny candles for $38 BUT they’re tiny little chocolates!!! I did see these in store and they are just as cute in person, but I have no memory of if they smelled like chocolate or not. It says they do… but I cannot confirm. These are illogical and make no sense but I LOVE THEM! I would have bought them already if they weren’t freaking $40. But I’m going to keep my eye on them, hope for a sale and love them from afar. But just in case this is up your alley or you have a gift card, I still wanted to share because they are level 10 cute.
8. Anthropologie Valeria Heart Coupe & Flute Glasses
I also came across these lovely heart shaped glasses on Anthropologie’s site and the more I look at them the more I want them. Now that we are parents and will probably spend Valentine’s Day night in with a lovely dinner at home, I love festive glassware like this to make the evening feel a bit more special. Or even when Milo is older, that heart coupe glass sure would be cute to eat ice cream out of! And the shape of the flute is just so cute. Can you tell I am currently talking myself into them…. and hey! Still more affordable than the tiny box of chocolate candles! lol
9. World Market Red Heart Old Fashioned Glass
Speaking of Anthropologie glasses, I am always a fan of their “festive juice glasses” as they like to call them making them impossible to find them on the website unless you know the right words to type… sorry, rant over. But you may be familiar with them, I have the pumpkins and candy corn ones for Halloween and just this year added the candy cane ones for Christmas! For a short time before they sold out (I sadly did not get my hands on them before they did), they had the same “festive juice glasses” with little red hearts for Valentine’s Day! And while it is sad they’re sold out and we can’t get our hands on them, the good news is that World Market has a dupe for them! They aren’t currently available for shipping, but I linked them anyway so you can see if they’re in stock at your store! My store currently has them, so I may go swoop them up!
10. World Market Red & Pink Candy Heart Glasses
I think these candy heart glasses from World Market are super cute so I wanted to share! We’ve got the flutes & the stemless wine glasses. I probably would have bought a couple of these but I bought the version from last year, which is exactly the same except the candy hearts are rainbow pastel colors! But these are super cute, festive & affordable! I always love browsing World Market’s decor.
11. World Market Red Shaggy Heart Shaped Throw Pillow
And lastly, I thought this fuzzy heart pillow from World Market was super cute! I love a little texture thrown into the mix when it comes to throw pillows, and it also looks super soft and perfect for taking a comfy couch nap. A multipurpose cushion!
